He votes against ending the shutdown because he feels that the government is going TOO FAR with the social safety net. He would vote to end the ACA, end SNAP, for that matter end Medicare and Social Security.

36 Democrats stood firm. But were thwarted. Again. As were their constituents, 70% of whom supported continuing the shutdown until healthcare was secured.

Good news, though, is the airlines won't lose that Thanksgiving money.
