We need leaders with fire in their belly.

We don’t have that in our leadership now. I listened to what Chuck S had to say about the Dems that caved and and his response was terrible. He needs to give up his leadership role, he doesn’t inspire me at all. We need to put someone else in charge. I’d like to see Chris M or Sheldon W.
As for the house, Jeffries is a little better but I listened to him on the Senate caving to the repubs and there was no inflection in his voice, no fire!
We need voices like Jamie R, AOC, Jasmine C, Malcom F and I’m sure there are quite a few more.
Get rid of the old guard and install new leadership.

3. And how would a leader with a fire in their belly changed this outcome?

What I think we need is for those on the left to realize that what we need the most is to keep Republicans from taking office -- period.

THAT is the one thing that could have been done differently that would have changed recent history.

A leader with "fire in their belly" is just the next scapegoat when they, too, are unable to work any miracles with the hand they have been dealt by the voters.

A strong leader who doesn’t play games, lie, and humiliate the troops.

And knows how to gd win.

6. paging David Hogg

With weak democrats like Kaine, Fetterman, Shaheen, et al, who needs republicans? The truth is that by undermining a united party effort, those eight weaklings invited far greater pain that will reach further into the future for more people as ACA insurance becomes less affordable and ineffective. Affordable access to health insurance is one of the primary reasons the ACA exists-- without strong price controls or subsidies, the ACA will slowly strangle. All eight Senate defectors know that. And yet. One must wonder on whose behalf they're really working.

Hogg is right. If we won't fight a party united in evil by uniting against them, what's the point?

8. I have read on this board posts from people who literally do not believe it is role of our leaders to be inspiring.

I say fuck that! I want more AOC and less Schumer. Much less Schumer.

We cannot elect more senators who would keep Schumer in leadership.
