Video - John Stewart's "rebuttal" to Lawrence O'Donnell

No, Stewart didn't call it this; I did, but it is an answer to Lawrence's A-block defense of Schumer and his Disgraceful Eight. I actually agree with Stewart and O'Donnell. My quibble is the Democrats not at least giving their momentum one more week. Yes, at some point you have to stop beating a dead horse, and when your opponent doesn't care about the result, you can't win. But, as Stewart points out, Republicans were starting to alienate some of their own. Why not let that simmer one more week?

I don’t know what it will take to get that back to normal, but we are still awaiting the House vote, I believe.

Thanksgiving is coming up. Big travel weekend. I think they wanted this put away before then.

Just a thought.

Lectures people . . . Jon Stewart shows his privilege every chance he gets. Meanwhile he interviews Joe Manchin because there was a real fighter, right Jon. The guys a joke.
