It's the perfect day to remember that we vets took an oath to protect the country against domestic enemies also.

Some of us not only forgot but joined the enemy by voting for the Thing.

Took the oath but didn't wear a uniform. I have taken it many times though I always think of it as a lifetime commitment.

Who takes the oath should understand this part.

And I would never equate my service as a civilian with that of those who serve in the military. I know the difference all too well.
