Kushner has been on the ground in Gaza

surveilling locations for his visions of development. An article from The Atlantic dated 11/10/25 with a byline from Hana Kiros is titled " The Trump Administration Has a New Plan for Gaza" and it details how there is a push now for something called Alternate Safe Communities.

Apparently the grand new plan is to build housing on the Israeli side of the "yellow line" that runs down the length of Gaza under the ramshackle agreement known as the "ceasefire/peace plan". Apparently Israel would take various Gazans and run them through extensive vetting and then allow them to live "behind the line" in newly constructed housing which is likely little more than cheap mobile trailers packed onto lots. But who owns the land is a stumbling block and all appearances are that like other purges of Palestinians it won't matter to the people with jets and tanks about getting an answer.

The article is a good read and notes the prior failure of similar thinking in Vietnam. Basically the idea of Israel deciding who the "good Palestinians" are raises alarm with some in the US State Department who haven't been purged yet by the fascists. What will happen to the rest of the Palestinians in Gaza nobody seems to have a clue except for an Israeli official who commented on what happens to those who don't measure up to Israel's standards: "a population that you move, and you say that they are good and safe, and then another population that is apparently all Hamas, so then whatever happens in that area is justified.” So in other words elimination continues. This is reminiscent of the United States genocide of indigenous people. Washington determined who were the "good Indians" and who were the "bad Indians". Jim Crow would later embody some of this thinking.

But Kushner went on his tour as the article notes and said he was told by his Israeli minders that the Palestinians were moving back to their plots and pitching a tent. this seemed not to impact what little shred of humanity Kushner may have as he endorsed creation on the Israeli side of the yellow line of what he described as a "place for jobs and workers".

So the plan becomes more clear if we read between the lines. Create the worker communities on the east side of Gaza and keep Israeli control and then continue military action against what is left until they can get to those luxury condo sites on the Mediterranean. Then the "workers" on the east side can be labor for building the condos and working in the bars, restaurants and casinos. The grand vision of Crumb The 1st and Kushner.

Their problem is that the Palestinian people don't seem to be playing along and the first installation of Alternate Safe Communities was supposed to be for 25,000 people down near Rafah. But in a population of about 2 million with an estimated 1.5 million desperately needing housing they have now scaled back their estimate for the Rafah development to only 6,000 people. Even getting anywhere near that may be a crap-shoot and like in most all of the events of the last 80 years a reason why is staring the "best and the brightest planners and powerful people" right in the face but they choose not to notice. That reason was summed up in this last part as the author notes:

" when it comes to the Alternate Safe Communities plan, the official with direct knowledge of the plans told me, “it’s unclear if there was any consultation at all with any Palestinian.”

That Gazans will get anything but a raw deal, especially if their futures are decided by Bibi, trump, and Kushner. Nothing seeps into these men's heads but greed, and humanity be damned.

All of this was foretold and pre-ordained but people didn't want to believe it or...whatever. Hope their silence now means they are wrestling with their conscience. Speaking up would be better though.
