1. I miss FDR and the four freedoms.

President Obama has probably been this best in my lifetime, but I still harbor anger at his refusal to hold war criminals to account (don't look back, lets just move forward) and failure to fight -- all out -- for the public option in the ACA.

The malignant narcissist-in-chief is despised. The things he is doing even more so.

At this point, I just hold the modest hope that more people running under the Democratic banner demonstrate the kind of principled strength that the people who support the party, and the the public, are desperate for.

The right to a useful and remunerative job in the industries or shops or farms or mines of the nation;
The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation;
The right of every farmer to raise and sell his products at a return which will give him and his family a decent living;
The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home or abroad;
The right of every family to a decent home;
The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health;
The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment;
The right to a good education.

... perhaps more of our electeds and candidates will step up and take a page from FDR.

Don't get lost in the weeds of the hows, just fucking work to build the political will for the goals.

And where there is a will, a way will be found.

I miss Biden, too, and can’t believe we lost him almost a year ago and everything he and Obama stood for and tried to do for the country.

Take back Congress if you want Less of Trump.

Trump's flunkies are running Congress right now.

Those votes are ready and waiting to be cast.
