Monica Lewinsky was not trafficked and was 22, and yet Clinton was impeached.

Supposedly just for having an affair while married. But the true reason was to re-capture the white house so the Neo-Cons could ignite the gulf war and make trillions.

Don't let the pukes minimize the fact that they elected a pedophile who helped traffic young girls for their personal use.

Whether he should have been is another issue but he wasn't impeached for having an affair.

If he had not or they didn't have evidence of it he wouldn't have perjured himself. What I always asked, "Why did they ask him about something that had nothing to do with being president?" Crickets.

not impeached for having an affair. They did use that to humiliate both him and his wife though, something that should have never even been a public spectacle. It was a dirty move by Republicans and their media.

when the American people recognized that a consensual affair among consenting adults was irrelevant to whether or not one was good at one's job and we had the decorum and common sense to care more about things that actually affect us, like corruption or lying about, say, Watergate rather than a b.j. Exhibit A: FDR died holding his mistress's hand. Exhibit B: JFK. They might not have been the perfect husband, but each was one of the best presidents we ever had.

They've never gotten over our attempts to hold Nixon accountable. Sigh. My friends and I used to say Watergate was no worse than "any given Wednesday" in the Bush/Cheney White House. Now, not only is it every fifteen seconds, but the offenses are beyond-the-pale worse...I believe we're past the point now where even Iran-Contra or W's war-based-on-a-lie are no longer the worst crime committed by an administration (not to forgive either Ray-gun or Bush the Lesser, neither of whom should ever have been allowed to skate).
