Help me out with this on Trump Epstein

There’s a local news station with the story about the email drop and the top comment says “this is all a deflection. If it was real they would’ve released it last year during the election”. I’m pretty sure there was a reason they weren’t but don’t remember the details. Since it’s the top comment showing up I’d like to set the record straight on this.

1. These were released by the Epstein estate, not the FBI. They were subpoenaed.

The subpoena went out from Oversight Committee Chairman Comer (R-Craven) to the Epstein Estate. This material is not the subject of the discharge petition in the House of Reprehensibles. Two different cases.

They've convinced themselves that there can't be anything damaging in the files because they believe it would have been released by Biden if there was something damaging.

What they completely ignore though is how desperate the con artist is to stop the release. There is something in there that the con does not want to come out.
