Epstein was no financial geniushe had a single client and quietly drained his assets. The man was too humiliated to sue.
Epstein had connections in Russia as well. This is an international trafficking network, and I suspect its still active. There are signs: $40 billion routed to Argentina, possibly $5 billion missing from the SNAP emergency reserve, and suspicious flows through DOGE, crypto, and other shadow channels.
This story is bigger than most realize. They targeted powerful men. Meanwhile, Ghislaine enjoys privileges in prisona puppy, curated food deliveries. Its hard to believe she didnt stash documents somewhere before Epstein was murdered.

Post WWII .... oh, let Google AI tell it:
"Russia issued passports to sleeper agents post-WWII, using them for espionage operations during the Cold War and in later years. These agents, known as "illegals," were trained and deployed in foreign countries to live normal lives while remaining hidden from authorities.
Cold War operations: During the Cold War, Russia's intelligence agencies, such as the KGB and later the SVR and GRU, actively used sleeper agents. These agents were provided with official documents, including passports under false identities, to facilitate their infiltration into Western countries.
Post-Cold War era: Even after the end of the Cold War, Russia continued to use sleeper agents. Intelligence agencies, such as the GRU, have used passports issued under false identities to allow agents to operate and travel internationally. The method of creating false identities sometimes involved obtaining the identities of deceased children, notes The Week."

Russia probably has more undercover 'sleeper' agents who can assassinate Western targets today than during the Cold War

(9,120 posts)I am personally a big fan of animals in prison in general. Dogs and cats are all I have read about so far - excluding the birdman of Alcatraz)
Some prison programs have involved inmates training dogs for service. But this helps not just the disabled community, but also helps prisoners to be less recidivist.
Even having just one dog in a prison can help way more than one inmate develop getter social skills - and reduce recidivism.
I personally have not seen cats in prisons, but it has been (I hope still is) in Pennsylvania - Jackson Galaxy publicized it. Learning to care for another living being is one of the very best ways to prepare for life after release without recidivism.
We talk as if this puppy is the only one in the prison. Do we know that? And, yes, it s a privilege and not every inmate will qualify, but it ia also a means of rehabilitation. Animals in prisons are also fewer animals who need to be euthanized in shelters because no one will adopt them.

(111 posts)There's a very famous prisoner who has been involved in training service dogs:

Not to defend him, but just sayin'....her former cult leader has a much, much lower body count than today's Republican party, even if you only include pregnant women. (And at least he cared about the environment and animals!)
