Thanks to Mitch McConnell, you can now say goodbye to legal THC products like Delta 9

MCCONNELL BURIED IT IN THE "RE-OPEN THE GOVERNMENT" BILL. TRUMP SIGNED IT, SO SAY GOODBYE TO LEGAL THC PRODUCTS.

What the spending bill would change

The 2018 Farm Bill created a loophole for intoxicating THC to be sold in low doses, Carol Moss, a cannabis attorney for Hellmuth & Johnson, told Axios this week.

The shutdown deal would ban those THC products and also non-intoxicating CBD products, Moss said.
What they're saying: "The bill, as it now stands, overrides the regulatory frameworks of several states, cancels the collective decisions of hemp consumers and destroys the livelihoods of hemp farmers," Paul said on Senate the floor prior to the Tuesday vote.

"It couldn't come at a worse time for America's farmers."

I've purchased Delta 9 (and, on occasion, CBD products that didn't contain THC), and I've been getting one email after another from them saying "If this goes through, McConnell will put us all out of business."

And, he did. And he gave a boost to his Kentucky Whiskey mavens.

...and the ones I found were all consistent. I haven't seen the bill that actually got signed today so I'm going by what I see in the news.

Every source also said there would be a one year grace period but I have no idea when companies would stop selling products. Day 1? Day 364? Who knows.

There are times when I need his behavior to be really chill, and Delta-8 is the only way to do it. I don't give it to him every day; maybe once every two or three weeks because using builds tolerance.

both the production of CBD products and straight hemp products, the oil, fiber and pulp products.

TCH has never been exactly legal in the US but some states have decriminalized it as a meication and for recreational use.

I sincerely hope this particular bit of ignorant right wing jackassery will be overturned when the new Congress is seated, In any case, the words "in psychoactive quantities" should have been added to "TCH" in that bill. I blame every single other Senator on both sides of the aisle for being that fucking ignorant.
