A new AP-NORC poll shows just 33% of adults approve of the way President Trump is managing the government, down from 42% in March.

It appears most of that slide was loss of support among Republicans. SunSeeker 33 min ago #7

compared with 31% in October.

That shows the messaging about cuts to healthcare has failed. That was essential to make the shutdown worthwhile.

And they'll still vote for anyone with an R next to their name. How bad do things have to get before people get it? Republicans are bad for us!

It has always depended on whether OUR voters turned out to vote.

The stupidity of voting for Trump; the stupidity of the American voter.

The voter: democracy’s greatest flaw.

But they'll still support him. It's like when you don't approve of what your child did, but you still love them. Trump is family to a lot of these people.

While Democrats continue to absolutely despise him as always, Republican approval of him slid from 81% in March to 68% in November. That is significant. I can't remember a time when his approval among Republicans was that low.
