Explaining the Epstein Files During the Biden Administration

We hear over and over, "if there was anything incriminating about Trump in the Epstein investigation, the Democrats would have rolled it out in the last election, or at least during the Biden years."

The answer to that is two words, Merrick Garland.

Those files will most likely not produce evidence that can lead to certain convictions. At best, it may expose men for immoral and illegal activity that has past the statute of limitation. It will produce a treasure trove of circumstantial evidence that will be highly convincing of wrongdoing in the court of public opinion.

Watching Garland during his 4 years as AG, we know how cautious he was. Following all the norms and predicates. He most likely would only support slam dunk cases of convictions. And President Biden would not interfere with the AG's judgement.

Now, the climate has changed. MAGA World did not care if some men who haven't committed a crime are outed by association with Epstein, or have committed an unproveable crime, let them face the public's wrath. Well, now one of those men is Donald Trump. Have a ball.

is nothing illegal. The files may prove that Trump had sex with men. The DOJ can't bring charges for that, or even make a big stink about that. But Trump would lose plenty of support from the MAGAts.

Only winnable cases would be brought under Garland. The MAGA world have boxed themselves in. They thought Bill Clinton and Democratic mega-donors would be exposed and humiliated. They bought into the bullshit that Trump wasn't the scum that he has proven to be.
