Even though he is to be fair a charismatic screen presence and a couple or maybe three Rocky movies were great, especially the first, he is a dope.

I once heard a Hollywood producer or writer say that when he read a portion of a script, without knowing the author, he guessed it was Sylvester because it had that “trademark stupid Stallone dialogue”. I remember reading that and laughing.

Rocky was a terrific film however, and quite frankly breathed life into Philadelphia, which had been moribund for years, nearly my entire lifetime up to that point. I give him credit for that. And it was his movie top to bottom.

He's snow white on top for days or even weeks and then suddenly he's gold for a few days. The press wouldn't even let a woman President get away with that, let alone a "manly alpha male" (barf). The WH press corps is way too cowed to comment on this but the photographic evidence is abundant.
