Trump's favorability in Texas was just 41% and his unfavorability 50%. In february he was at 53% favorable and 41% unfavorable, so his approval in Texas is crashing just like it is nationwide.

For this ad to work, the viewers have to make the connection, "If Trump is saying these things, he must really be scared of her. Maybe we should learn why Trump is so scared of her."

I do think her timing is right. The whole country -- including many MAGAs, is really sick of Trump now. And a great many Americans will immediately connect with the unfairness of what Trump is saying here, and just how destructive he is. They don't want pissing contests, They want to get past Trump. And that is the message she is sending without any words.

Certainly nothing energizing and it tells you absolutely nothing about the candidate. People here will see it as the "angry black woman" trope. I hope they've got better ideas coming.
