I May Be Wrong, But I Think It's A Mistake To Bash MTG, Boebert, Mace, And Massie

How many Congressional Magats have stood up to Krasnov? 4 in the House, and I'm not sure if Rand Paul counts in the Senate.

These people are tiny cracks in Krasnov's armor who live in Magat districts who can bring unwashed Magats over to our side.

Krasnov just vetoed a bipartisan bill to bring drinking water to Lauren Boebert's district because Boebert voted for the Epstein Bill.

Many people ask how are we going to restore what Krasnov and his billionaire traitors stole from us, I at least have a suggestion. We need to get a significant number of unwashed Magats to join us, doing so will put pressure on Congressional Magats.

MTG, Boebert, Mace, and Massie have done a lot of bad shit, I get it, but bashing them now is a big mistake, is shooting ourselves in the foot.

I live among Magats, I know them. There are many unwashed Magats who are zombies, who are beyond hope, who simply vote against Democrats. There are people who voted Magat who are not zombies, I believe getting these people on our side is the key to throwing out the billionaires.

Right now our strategy is to throw money at the next election (I get 15 texts a day) I love it when I see Ro Khanna, someone who is a frequent guest on Thom Hartmann's show, working with Tom Massie.

4 House Magats had the courage to take Krasnov on and believe me they got death threats for doing so. So let's all join with Krasnov in bashing these 4 people so that number will never grow.

Without the support of those 4 Magats the Epstein scandal is dead, think about that scenario the next time you bash them.

the 4 Magats who voted for the Epstein Bill are attacking Krasnov more than my Rep. is who I gave money to.

I totally understand the type of people those 4 people are, I don't need a lecture. What those 4 people did may be the #1 attack on Krasnov for the year 2025. Krasnov took Boebert into the situation room to threaten her to change her vote.

Those 4 people are getting death threats, do you understand why they are getting death threats and from whom? I got death threats when I stood up to powerful people back in the 70's who were endangering our town's water supply. I live in a right wing town but the entire town got behind me, including right wingers, and we protected our water supply. Republicans and Democrats in my small town united over one cause, I lived it, I don't need a lecture.

Were it not for those 4 people the Epstein crisis would be dead and gone.

Krasnov's Big Ugly Death Bill isn't just going to devastate unwashed Democrats, it is going to devastate unwashed Magats. The worst of the cuts to our social safety net will happen on Dec. 1, 2026.

Do you think that the gutting of Obamacare will only affect Democrats? Krasnov is coming out with a "short term insurance plan" to replace Obamacare. It does not allow for pre-existing conditions, it doesn't cover shit.

Magats can lie about policy but they can't lie about fucking over their base when their base gets fucked. 50,000 Americans are going to die next year because of people losing healthcare, not all those people are Democrats. Wed Dec 31, 2025, 10:15 AM

President Trump’s legislative agenda, though their political paths have diverged recently due to internal party conflicts.
Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA)Historically one of Trump's most vocal supporters, Greene’s voting record in 2025 remains closely aligned with the administration, though she has recently made headlines for high-profile breaks with the President:
- Voting Alignment: As of September 2025, she was among the House Republicans who voted with Trump’s priorities 100% of the time on major roll-call votes.Recent Conflict: In late 2025, a rift developed over her push for the release of Justice Department files (the Epstein files) and her criticism of certain military actions (such as strikes on Iran) and foreign aid (Ukraine).
- Status: Despite these disagreements and a public rebuke from the President in November 2024, she continues to identify as a "MAGA" stalwart and typically supports the administration's core economic and social policies.

Lauren Boebert (R-CO)Boebert continues to be a reliable vote for the Trump agenda in 2025, often positioning herself as a champion for the administration's "One Big Beautiful Bill" (H.R. 1), which includes key Trump priorities:
- Key Votes: She voted "Yes" on the major 2025 legislative package that made the 2017 Trump tax cuts permanent, funded the border wall, and implemented work requirements for federal benefits.Specific Support: She has actively supported the administration's efforts to dismantle parts of the "administrative state," including voting for rescission packages to defund entities like NPR and PBS and supporting the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act.
- Alignment: Her voting record consistently ranks as one of the most conservative in the House, with near-total alignment with the President's stated legislative goals.

Marjorie Taylor Greene
* Trump Voting Score - ~100% (on major 2025 roll calls)
* Major Legislation - Supported Trump tax law & border funding
* Notable Defiance - Defied Trump on Epstein files & Iran strikes
* Caucus Status - Expelled from Freedom Caucus in 2023
Lauren Boebert
Trump Voting Score - ~100% (on major 2025 roll calls)
* Major Legislation - Supported Trump tax law & border funding
* Notable Defiance - Defied Trump on Epstein files
* Caucus Status - Active in Freedom Caucus leadership

No "bashing" is required, they have tied themselves with infamy to the horrible coming days.

That said, I am all for letting these really crazy folks unload full nasty on Trump, real crazy stuff that Trump always needs to respond to.

Lesson that should certainly be learned by now, though, is that a woman has no place in GOP House leadership. Ask MTG, Boebert, or Mace, or Elise Stefanik, for that matter, about their roles in the Mike Johnson led House.

Conservative women voters might just, I could hope, see this treatment of other Conservative women as upsetting. It might open some eyes, although many Christo-Trumpists I have encountered over the years, women included, are not overly supportive of women in politics, or even voting. It is a cult, and I am always baffled by many of the things they do.

However - no one mentioned Candace and Tucker who have two of the top podcasts in the world. Both are now huge advocates against the genocide. Candace is done with Trump and her audience does not trust the FBI or KashPatel. Tucker is weird but he’s one of the most vocal anti genocide reporters in US. Two of the world’s top podcasters are hating Trump’s Epstein and Israeli policies.

The hate coming from Trump onto Massie only seems to make many Republicans like Massie more. Trump just called Massie a “lowlife Republican “ & then Massie used this to fundraiser.

Dave Smith - top podcaster - Libertarian who voted for Trump calls Trump a huge loser.

At least - many Republicans & Libertarians are finally hating Trump - better late than never Enjoying the hate Trump is receiving on Republican podcasts

Mike Johnson & TSF that's what matters to me. I believe Massie is doing this based on principle. The same for MTG although she has aways to go to to prove to me that she's truly changed. A public apology to David Hogg would be a good start. Boebert hasn't changed but she's right on the Epstein issue. So is Mace but from what I've seen on DU she's not always right in the head.

Right now, the entire Republican Party is an enemy to American and global democracy.

You don't help your enemy when they're self-destructing.

In pockets around the U.S. some Republican politicians are feeling the justified heat from constituents who are noticing that Trump's campaign promises aren't coming true.

This heat is an essential part of democracy reasserting itself. If we want to win this war and save our democracy, we need to defeat Republicans and replace them with Democrats.

MTG is clearly pitching herself for higher office. I don't want her to succeed. Do you want her to replace one of the current Democratic senators in Georgia? I don't. I want her to retire to oblivion.

Same with Massie. Do you want him to replace Mitch McConnell in the senate? I don't. I'm hoping Kentuckians elect a Democrat instead.

Same with Nancy Mace. She's crazy and evil, I'm not going to help her. Lauren Boebert? Please.

This idea that "if we're nice to them they'll be nice back" is wrong wrong wrong. These evil doers want to get elected to even higher offices. Don't help them.

87. MTG, for instance, is a shrewd politician.
Wed Dec 31, 2025, 02:18 PM

She grew up in an affluent family in a suburb of Atlanta. She made a calculated choice to move to a deep red district in mountainous northeastern Georgia, where she created a fake down-home persona complete with a fake hillbilly accent to get herself elected to Congress.

That persona has run its course. To be elected senator in a state with two Democratic senators, she has to moderate her positions. That's what she's doing. She's not committing political suicide. She's taking a calculated risk to trade in her rural MAGA persona for a more moderate Republican persona. She's calculating that Trumpism can't help her anymore.

Never forget that MRG started her career chasing after survivors of a mass school shooting, recording herself calling them vile names and bragging about it online.

This is not a good person.

As for your question - it absolutely helps her get elected to statewide office if Democrats start praising her. She needs the votes of Democrats and Independents to win.

Don't help her. Help Ossoff get reelected.

I don't understand this compulsion, every time a Republican behaves in a positive way, for DUers to trot out the list of every bad thing they've ever done in their life.

Yes, they're a bad person who has done bad things. We all know this. But we need to create incentives for them to do what we want them to do. That's how we persuade people and turn this train wreck around. Positive reinforcement works at least 20 times as well for learning as negative reinforcement. And we can't do that if every time a Republican pops their head above the surface and does something brave speaking out against their team, we then pile on to remind them of what a piece of shit they are otherwise.

Noting that MTG is right for once and agrees with me doesn't mean I'm endorsing her entire worldview or excusing the terrible shit she has done in the past. It just means that on this one thing she's showing promise of coming around to the right opinion. We have to be able to let people do that or they will keep digging in. Save the pile on for the issues and opinions where they are still wrong.

They were absolutely useless. Did not move the electoral needle one jot. But those people, whose goal is to return to the glorious status quo of 2005, did succeed in getting time, attention, and resources diverted from actual liberals and Democrats to themselves.

I do believe in giving rank-and-file Redhats a place to land once the scales start falling from their eyes, but not so much for the people who drove it along, who embraced Trump and are only balking because they, like the NeverTrumpers back in 2016, are simply trying to position themselves for a post-Trump party.

The best I can manage for MTG, Massie, and their ilk is the old adage "if you can''t say something nice, don't say anything at all." Throttling back on condemnation is fine, but praising them is unconscionable.
