It can't be 2 yrs, 4 yrs or 6 yrs again

If we get majorities in the next elections in both the house, Senate and WH, it cannot ever be just for that election cycle for a long time to come. Rebuilding the middle class of this country is going to take a long time.

Democrats must talk in plain language not political speak, such as - Do you want universal health care? Do you want good wages? Do you want to purchase a home? How about free child care? Well if you do you can't vote for Republicans because they will take it all away from you - is that what you want? They will make you suffer while their friends get richer and richer.

By election time they should be hurting in multiple ways and might just be ready to pull the lever.

The repugs breaking the country in half every time they get in power and blame Democrat s. Then the Dems clean it up, work on fixing it and then get blamed again for fixing it the wrong way. Rinse and repeat.

There is no way we can fix everything he is breaking in two or four years. Then we have to pass as much legislation as possible to prevent this from happening again.

It may take a generation to repair and upgrade our democracy. What we have now is unsustainable and if we don't hold people accountable, they'll just be back to wreak havoc all over again. That's no secret, history has told us it is true.

The success of Zohran Mamdani in New York City and Eileen Higgins in Miami provide something of a template.

May governing be as successful as getting elected.

We may see frequent and huge political swings as a small shift in votes occurs primarily as a result of dis-satisfaction with the In-power Party. It's a Ping-Pong effect as a broken system encounters Information Warfare. A race to the bottom. How bad must it get before Americans demand a better political system?

We are a "vote against something" country.

The best we can do is implement as many positive policies for everyday Americans as we can while we are in power and try to ensure they can't be rolled back when Republicans regain power because Americans will inevitably treat elections as a referendum on the current party in power and Democrats won't be able to fix all the problems that our society faces.
