We have reached a point. Where we need a national leader to head our resistance movement.

We’ve seen Governor Waltz Mayor Frey on a state level of leadership. Yet we need a leader with a chain of command from the top down to community levels for structure.
As to combine every resistance group into one national organized peaceful movement.

His courage convinces me he doesn’t have to stick his finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing. His wife, Gabby, is also a courageous role model.

Yesterday I thought about the total number of Democrats in the House and Senate.
The Trump administration’s terror tactics should cause each one of them to come forward and say something. Even better, a giant group of them. How many of them have stepped up to a microphone with a forceful message? Not a Susan Collins type letter of concern, but a fierce, principled statement. These times call for unwavering grit and principled positions….not timid words easily drowned out by the likes of CNN’s lying Scott Jennings. I’m proud of any Democratic leaders who have spoken out, but we need so many more.

The People are leading the way.. time for the leaders to follow the People.

Elected Democrats from everywhere should be in Minneapolis with the People.. just a day or two on the ground and in front of the cameras..Democratic mayors and governors need to stand with Mayor Frey and Governor Walz and call this shit out because it's gonna get worse.

That person would be on the scale of MLK. I'm not sure who our major civil rights leaders are right now.

That haven't had leaders of the type mentioned. Kenya, South Korea, Ukraine to just name a few.

One of my personal critiques of the Democratic party has always been our white knight syndrome when we should be harnessing movements and ideology and find 'leaders' who are organizers.

I firmly believe it will take a movement and not just a single person moving a ballot box to get us theough this.

In my opinion, Gavin Newsom has been quite outspoken against Trump and his ilk. I also believe Mark Kelly and AOC are involved. Would be nice to hear a little more from our actual leaders …… Schumer, Jeffers? We could use a little more from these two.

Start organizing nationwide. Create HQs in every state. Where citizens can go and report tRUMP crimes.

We have Newsom, but we need someone FULL time. Or, a coordinated team. The obvious choices are: Newsom, Crockett, AOC.
Offer up some names, people!

23. National Leaders create a point of vulnerability
Sun Jan 25, 2026, 09:39 AM

So many of our leaders in the past were killed to stop the movement! I’m not just referring to MLK and the Kennedys, but less known people like Panthers and cultural icons who maybe were set up. It is well known that many GOP and some Dems have had their families threatened (Pizza deliveries anyone?) and are maintaining nuetral or supportive postures toward the oligarchy. How will you assure a national leader does not encounter the same pressures? How will you protect them against stochastic terrorism like the kind we encountered in Minnesota this past summer? Or family harassment like the kind Gov Walz’s family endured last summer?
Right now we have a good organic structure in many communities and cities and we need to be building those up, sharing tactics, methods and resources. I propose we need to organize more as localized cell structures, with quiet national interfaces to coordinate. I have great respect for AOC and Crockett etc., but they are serving very well as spokespeople and that should remain their primary role for now.

Consider two slogans from my youth;
“Don’t follow leaders, watch your parking meters…”. Bob Dylan
“The one who says he can get the dynamite is the informant.” Anonymous

Think for yourself. The details will get you at anytime. Anyone can be turned given enough pressure.

No one in Minneapolis needs a “leader.”
They know what to do.
When to do it.
Where to do it.
How to do it.
How to dress for it.
And how to die for it.
No “leader” is coming to save us.

He’s been acting as a shadow president.

Trump acted as a shadow president during Biden and was covered as much by the press. Newsom has been taking power back by doing the same to Trump.
