The country is starting to fight back. I hope this is the beginning of the end for the Trump regime

The Bad Bunny halftime show is just one more manifestation of that. This is not going unnoticed in Europe. In fact, le Figaro, one of France's biggest newspapers, has an article already up:

À Santa Clara, au cœur de la Silicon Valley, l’artiste portoricain a transformé le spectacle de la mi-temps en manifeste culturel célébrant la diversité américaine, dans un contexte politique particulièrement clivant.

In Santa Clara, in the heart of Silicon Valley, the Puerto Rican artist transformed the halftime show into a cultural manifesto celebrating American diversity, in a particularly divisive political context.

I think their analysis is spot on. I am seeing it here on bluesky too with people commenting about the significance of it.

We are starting to see pushback in the streets of Minnesota and elsewhere, in cultural and sports events like the Super Bowl, but also the WWE, where they were chanting Fuck ICE, at the Grammy Awards several artists also took a stance.

At this point, it is going to snowball and wipe out the MAGATS. The day of reckoning is coming for Trump and his goons, we wont give up our country that easily.

Which seems to be generally known as a bit less redneck than WWE, and the wrestler on stage at the time has been vocal about disapproving of ICE's atrocities, so that seems to be the trigger for what happened. Also, it was in Vegas, which has a large % Hispanic population relative to most large US cities.

This is not all to say it was not a very nice thing to hear, it just was not WWE is all
