Pardon me, but I am going to get dark for a moment (Epstein (rape) Trigger Warning)

Epstein got rich supplying victims to rapists.
Those rapists still exist.
They are paying someone to supply victims for their predilections, right now.

Many people suffer in the hands of others when wealth is privilege.
Money truly is the root of all evil.

I apologize to all victims of human trafficking, we should have been there for you.

Charge them for the actual cost of the roads, court systems (law enforcement) and air traffic control that keeps them alive.
They each use more of our resources than most communities.
They are the takers, workers are the makers.

"what's fair taxation?" I've been asked that a hundred times. In response, here's a simply thought experiment. If the US suffered something like an October Revolution and US style Bolsheviks started collectivizing, who's got the most to lose? Who relies the most on our structures and functions of government? Legal system, property rights, financial rules that protect from fraud, and a ginormous military to protect all that. And not just what's obvious. Many of us rely on those structures to maintain our lifestyles and don't even realize it. It's not those on government programs. That's a pittance in the grand scheme meant only to barely keep them alive. It's the wealthy who benefit more, and it doesn't scale linearly with income. One must contribute based on how much one benefits, both directly and indirectly. That's fair and equitable.

Then, add in the fact that wealth itself can be an existential threat to very system. And the level of that threat doesn't scale linearly either. At levels seen now and in the Gilded Age, the rich can simply buy the government and democracy is hampered, if not killed. With Citizens United, Jimmy Carter said we'd moved from democracy to oligarchy and he was right.

been thinking about this a lot lately. how we are at the end or near end stage of capitalism. how capitalism has morphed into an ideology or a religion as opposed to an economic model. and how greed has destroyed it all.

it's really nothing new that money is, as a practical matter, more important than people or even the planet. Wars have occurred for the sake of money. Our children have been sacrificed on the altar of money. The Common Good has disappeared and means nothing compared to money.

I believe it's end or near end stage, but still don't know that I will live long enough to see a better democracy arrive from its ashes.

All is reported is the Wall Street version of the economy, but the real economy is down here on the street, where the people live. It's not doing very well.

Their wealth affords them anything they want. They've indulged their every desire so thoroughly they have to think of twisted situations to stimulate any kind of desire or curiosity...they are completely OVER stimulated to the point of the most profound perversion.

Krauss, I think, where he berates an atheist documentary saying that it should explode other lies of society like Love.

The fact that Epstein never felt love for anyone and assumes no one does, and the fact that psychopaths can never feel love because in their minds only they exist is so telling.

This is what almost all the filthy-rich believe. It takes a psychopath to be a billionaire. The capitalist system is set up to reward users, abusers, and loveless crazy people.

On a small scale a few overly privileged psychopaths is not too bad of a problem. But when we let them organize, plan and control an entire country is when the clearly destructive force of capitalism explodes. This is what many call end stage capitalism.

We know they were both in Epstein circles.

They think everybody cheats on their taxes, because they do.
They think everybody cheats on their spouse, because they do.
They think everybody rapes children, because they do.
I really, truly, hope that nobody is harvesting hormones from infants in a quest for longevity; but I don't know.

We only have a partial accounting of what happened to the adults and children pedo Trump took away and "relocated" the last time. This time around the pedo has been much more aggressive and secretive about the children and adults he abducts.

I will bet my last dollar that pedo Trump, his family and his "friends" have a nice human trafficking business going on. With ICE being the collectors of humans to sell, which is why the pedo doesn't care if they are US citizens or not. They are just cattle for sale.
