(3,137 posts)It doesnt include either Renee Good or Alex Pretti
or the unfortunate gentleman who recently froze to death in Buffalo.
So
the numbers are actually higher than reported in this source.
The responsible agents name is not listed for any of the deaths, and for only one injured victim. One thing they do well is to shelter their perps.
On edit: A Correction: Alex Pretti appears on the injured list, with broken ribs. Thats not all that happened to him! Clearly, the list is at least incomplete.

(12,922 posts)You have to click the "show more" link to expand the list. The 1/24/2026 shooting is included.
They acknowledge the data is incomplete.
Our information comes primarily from news reports, government data, civil/human rights nonprofit organizations and other sources such as immigration legal advocates...
Our data sets are incomplete and do not show the comprehensive number of people federal agents have killed and injured. News outlets and advocacy groups do not capture every death; governmental data hides certain information and is inconsistent across reporting channels. The Southwest Border Deaths Subject Data for fiscal year 2025, for example, recorded nearly 200 deaths for the period but lacks details about how each person died. We have only listed people when we could verify that an agent was involved in their death. The data set for injuries shows only a fraction of the people agents have hurt and typically only includes injuries that were reported and required medical aid.

(12,922 posts)the list of deaths in their terroristic "enforcement actions" (as you note, you need to click show more). The most recent listed is the 2/16/2026 death of Dr. Linda Davis.

(12,922 posts)...well that's a pretty major f-up. I didn't see the show more link right away either. It just didn't seem to be the type of error they would make tho.
But it's pretty clear that tracking the deaths in custody is lagging behind.
When the agency responsible for reporting is so corrupt, it's difficult to know how many deaths are uncounted. I think the only thing we can be sure of is that the actual numbers are higher.
