The Generals Said No but Trump Was Bored of Peace
NOT LISTENING
The peace president, 79, has gone to war, again.

America’s top generals have been as clear as they dare in warning Donald Trump off his latest military adventure. But the president wasn’t listening.

The Venezuela raid was well planned, limited in scope, and a clear military success, just the kind of stunt Trump and the former Fox News host who serves as his “Secretary of War” needed to fire up the troops in their new anti-woke army.

But Iran is a whole different matter. There’s a reason why, as Trump put it, the Iranian regime has been able to chant “Death to America” for the past 47 years as it targeted American forces and interests in the region through its network of terror groups and proxy militias.

The last time the United States tried to use military power to deliver regime change in the Middle East, with the ill-fated invasion of Iraq in 2003, its forces were bogged down for eight years. The real winner of that adventure was Iran, which was effectively handed control of the new Iraq after the dismantling of the Baathist regime.

And lots of Americans die, he will blame someone else. Woke military or Biden or whatever. It’s never his fault and he gets away with it.

Russia's economy is in the shitter, this war should raise the price of oil to help him out.

When Krasnov's fossil fuel cronies can no longer keep the price of gasoline down, and his new Fed chair cuts interest rates, inflation will skyrocket in the United States.

It's early yet in the war, but this may well be the beginning of a multi-year war in the ME once again, this may what brings down Krasnov.

...is that TSF needs the distraction of war desperately! Plus it will give him a good excuse to say things are completely out of control and take over or cancel elections.

13. Generals don't matter anymore. This is Kegsbreath 's Crusade.

Kegsbreath never met a UCMJ article or Constitutional Amendment (other than maybe the 2nd) that he thought was legit, anyway, so putting him in charge of the Military was like putting a gangbanger hitman in charge.

Democracy - that means it doesn't matter who it is, if they have the $$$s and are aligned with "his team", they will get his service and more importantly "his" toys.

He doesn't care who he kills or what he damages, so long as he can pretend he's a General for his God.

And I've never felt this way during my almost 6 decades, but I now think that the military thinks of their oath as being to the president (as long as he's Republican), and not the Constitution.
