WIse DU Friends , I'd like your thoughts...

The past 24 hours have been a nightmare in living color. I saw a video by Tom Snyder, a historian who specializes in fascism, explaining that this aggression toward Iran is likely to be used to interfere with, block, or manipulate the 2026 midterms. Other commentators have suggested that there may be domestic terror attacks that will be blamed on Iran and its allies.

What’s your opinion on the following:

1. Is this a tactic to interfere with the 2026 midterms?

2. If there are domestic terror attacks, are these being designed by black‑ops units within the U.S. or other intelligence groups in order to blame Iran (and others) and justify a crackdown on personal liberties, voting rights, and related freedoms?

Rachel Maddow did a great job of explaining the motivations that prompted this act of war. Who does it benefit? The answer is multi-faceted.

Trump will destroy the country to shutter the Epstein expose, but it has gone way to far. Separate investigations have begun (especially the critical money trail) that can't be stopped. Remember, Al Capone died of the effects of syphilis, but was put out of business by accountants.

Someone or ones have to stop it.

The plan is pretty clear.

Create a disaster by weakening cyber and military defense. In the ensuing grid and communications failure, using a cabal of “replacement” security and military people, take complete control of the country and hand control to Putin. Hegseth is PURGING THE MILITARY of its leaders. This is a coup in motion.

It didn't work, so creating a war was called instead.
Damned uncooperative Russian, Chinese and East European hackers!!

And I was for a national shutdown ages ago.
