An avid golfer had an aggressive skin cancer on his neck. He had a rash on his neck like that from radiation. If tsf gets hoarse or loses weight, that would be my guess. BTW...the treatments didn't work. The cancer spread and my uncle passed. Suffered through treatment for nothing.

He has spent extraordinary amounts of time on the golf course. If he bothered using sun screen, (kind of doubtful) he may not have bothered to apply it to his neck area. So a skin cancer developing there wouldn’t be a surprise, but would not be something Mr. Vanity would want to share.
