I am sure my MAGA Catholic school classmates and relatives are pissed that this “woke” Cardinal would dare to speak this way about their dear leader and his regime.

It makes me feel like leadership of the Church has come a long way

since pope “brown shirt” took us backward with his ideology. I like the current pope, for the most part, and pope Francis, prior to him. They at least seem to embrace the Sermon on the Mount’s teachings, and aren’t fans of the POS in Mayo Lardo.

No matter what religion.

They’re always the sane voice in the maelstrom.

It is profoundly evil to celebrate death and destruction as if it were a sporting event or video game. The celebrators are bereft of all conscience and morality and humanity. But profoundly evil is this demonic administration’s brand. 😡🤬

I believe that the Cardinal has the authority to instinct all his priests in the Diocese of Chicago to read his letter to their congregations. Too many Catholic priests have openly supported Trump from their pulpits. It’s time that the Church puts an end to it, excommunicating any priest who continues to support a perpetrator of murder.

They not only openly supported the orange pedophile, some bishops castigated President Biden. Assholes.

The US military is currently conducting live ammo, live action war games training and research under the cover of a demented Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
The generals know trump is demented, delusional, and dangerous but they do not care because the military-industrial-complex is supreme; power over paper. Chaos over Constitution.

refuse to follow illegal orders.

It would mean the end of their careers, but once the first one refused, others might follow.

Same with the pilots under their command.

I commend Cardinal Cupich for speaking truth to power. We need a daily dose of this, a reminder of what is being done in Iran and elsewhere is being done in our names, fueled by our tax dollars.

Enough!
