Trump's MAGA made it even worse. He kept threatening to take their audience to NewsMax and OAN if they didn't broadcast what he told them to. That's why they privately argued but still told his 2020 election lies.

Remember the talking point about "Nixon got a raw deal"? That can be attributed to the influence of Ailes circle of people. Ailes was the communication director of the Nixon white house. That and as the years went by, more apologists for Reagan, Bush, tax cuts, war on Christmas, Black Friday shopping being black shoppers fighting over stuff at Walmart on the day after Thanksgiving, etc. etc.

But this statement in the article really riled me: “In shocking example of MAGA propaganda…”. Is this really “shocking” to us? It shouldn’t be…we’ve watched this man repeatedly make a fool of himself and use under-handed means to make himself “look good.” So…. again, is this really shocking? No - not in the least.

It would be shocking if he actually demonstrated empathy or regret.
