Every transportation company is NOT going to eat the increase & let margins erode.
In fact, most big transport companies build uncontrollable costs into their contracts.
So, wholesalers & retailers pay higher shipping costs.
And the vast majority of those companies won't accept the margin erosion.
So, as always, fuel costs are likely an inflationary trigger.
If it lasts more than a few months, it's almost guaranteed.
