Norman Ornstein: A chilling story leading the Minneapolis Star Tribune this morning. 3/26.

ICE agents followed Minnesota Democratic lawmakers who had been critical of ICE in the state, stopping multiple times to take pictures of their houses. This is what a police state does

Added: *According to reporting from the Minnesota Star Tribune, DFL Rep. Brad Tabke had his license plate run by federal agents before an SUV later pulled up outside his Shakopee home in January. He says agents visibly photographed his house. The same sequence allegedly happened again in February, followed by repeated sightings of agents near his home.

Consistent abuse of power.

Minnesotans have shown us the way.

This is an ICE activity reporting website (by the people).

It has a "filter" function with a drop-down and you can click on any date/month to view activity.

Granted, not every incident is reported, nor does everyone know about the site.
It does give us an idea of current activity and when the draw down happened.

Some of the higher number's of reporting was in the 700's and now it is in the 100's.
They are still out there! They are still picking people up!

The decision to do this came from higher places.
Technically, the agents that did this were not doing what they get paid to do.
The had to be taking direction from above.
Then, they have the cover of "I was just following orders". (A sign of weakness if there ever was one.)

Into your life it will creep Starts When you’re always afraid Step out of line, The man comes and takes you away Time we Stop…..

http://insidethevietnamwar.weebly.com/for-what-its-worth---buffalo-springfield.html

They want everyone paranoid, passive, and preoccupied with keeping themselves and loved ones safe. They did this during Coin Tel Pro and it worked. In the Bay area, no one knew who to trust and the rule of thumb became “The one who says he can get the dynamite is the narc!” In Nashville, where Mr Sweet was during that time, violence was more targeted. They sent bikers in to break gathering spots and the people in them. Mr Sweet was targeted and left town for 25 years in fear of his life.

We’ve been here before. The tools are more pervasive, but the communication is better and the people are waking up. I’d like to remind everyone of my favorite rally chant:

“The people united can never be defeated!” Good luck and stay safe out there!

Norm Ornstein: “Turning Grief to Purpose: Working to Reform our Broken Mental Health System”

Following the death of my 34-year old son Matthew in 2015, after his ten year struggle with serious mental illness, my family and I created a foundation in his memory, and began to work on issues of serious mental illness to find ways to keep other families from suffering as we had, and other people with SMI from suffering as Matthew had.
