Read today. 3 people you never trust.

1. A religious figure who tells you how to vote.
2. A politician who tells you how to pray
3. A draft dodger who tells you how to be patriotic.

On point.

Russia has a military draft. Is avoiding that unpatriotic given the war in Ukraine is immoral? William Calley and Benedict Arnold both served in the military.

And plenty of religious leaders don't directly tell you who to vote for, but tell you to vote for people who feed the poor or bring peace and in any election sadly that's often

You are so correct.

Of course, there is the fact that we as a nation do love to make things exceedingly complicated when they really don't need to be.

And, placating that desire is not helpful either.

Usually, anytime someone talks about 'complications', it is because of the desire to 'get a piece of the action'. The entire 'complicating' factor is other greedy people wanting in, or trying to stop you from getting what they believe is 'theirs'.
