From a facilities meeting at work yesterday- HVAC Data Centers

Due to data center activity in the Richmond (& No. Va.) area HVAC, specifically electronic components, lead time is 40-88 weeks.

Unless contractors are able to procure needed parts quicker or the market changes, we should plan projects accordingly.

Who knows what tariffs or China refusing to ship key components will do over a year or more. Of course we really probably don't need all the centers folks talk about but problem will be could also affect critical projects like hospitals that also need high end, sophisticated HVAC systems to allow infection control/negative air capability and high air filtration.

I’d hope they get preferential treatment but like I said above - data centers have a ton of money and money talks.
