Is a new stereotype being born?

About a month ago, as we were watching one of Swalwell's frequent appearances on MS.NOW, I said, completely joking, "Nah, ever since John Edwards, I've been suspicious of handsome politicians. It never crossed my mind that, indeed, it had happened again.

So I'm wondering if handsome politicians are going to begin suffering the fate of good looking blond women.

... can hide a poisonous personality. Pretty people are too often spoiled because they get what they want too easily, and, as a result, never fully develop a sense of empathy toward others. Then, when their capricious desires are thwarted, the serpent within bares its fangs, and object of their malice has a real "OH, SHIT!" moment.

and he genuinely seemed to care about them and to be a good father? I have no idea what goes on in his home life, but I never got the negative impressions I get when I see JD Vance with Usha and his kids. Yuck...

Damned depressing, though. I know I am not alone in once thinking he was one of the "good" guys. Sigh...
