Capitalism is like fire. Controlled, it can do work and keep you nice and warm. Uncontrolled, it will burn your house down.

Not like a five pack of sparklers.

Until we do that, there is little else to do.

Just ask the Swedes, the Danes, the Finns, virtually every civilized country. I don't count my home country in that group. In Sweden, if you have a good idea, and can get some start up money, you can strike out on your own without fear of abject poverty if things don't go to plan. That's why so many of them are innovation hotbeds. They've taken then practical side of both worlds and merged them into a form of rational social capitalism.

But, it is going to take more than legislation to stop the rich oligarchs in this country.

And, we don't seem interested in changing it anyway.

Which is enough to make me wail like a newborn. But, we'd rather enrich a few than make sure everyone is sufficient.
