The FBI Director Is MIA

Kash Patel’s erratic behavior at the FBI could cost him his job, including what his colleagues describe as unexplained absences and excessive drinking, which have alarmed colleagues and his security detail, The Atlantic reports.

“Several officials told me that Patel’s drinking has been a recurring source of concern across the government. They said he is known to drink to the point of obvious intoxication, in many cases at the private club Ned’s in Washington, D.C., while in the presence of White House and other administration staff. He is also known to drink to excess at the Poodle Room in Las Vegas, where he frequently spends parts of his weekends.”

Being in the Trump orbit would cause anyone to drink excessively. Except for Whiskey Pete. That's his normal state. He was thoroughly sloshed long before the became Sec War.

It has been my experience that people that drink usually fall into 1 of 2 categories.

Happy drunk vs Aggressive hateful drunk.

I wonder what he is? I should make a survey.....

And I'd not be surprised to find out he would stay sober long enough for Cabinet Meetings, then get hammered before heading back to the office when all he'd have to worry about would be a pop-up press meeting.
Not a good look.

is a rough habit to break. So much for Trump's vetting process.

To date, Trump's initial staff have been terrible, and/or no longer work for the government.

Sarah Fitzpatrick, staff writer for The Atlantic, talks with Jen Psaki about her new reporting about a bizarre freak-out by FBI director Kash Patel when he thought being unable to log into his work computer meant he'd been fired by Donald Trump, and episodes of excessive drinking that alarmed his FBI colleagues.

criticize Democrats as "tax and spend" or wasting taxpayer monies. These freakin' people are draining our treasury for their own personal greed and lifestyles while cutting necessities for people who need help.

I am so furious I could spit nails! Where's the accountability for the massive amount of money they spend on their little junkets and playthings?

Years ago, when I worked in law firms in Wash DC, one would hear the rumors "well, you know she drinks a lot" etc - when you noticed a firm partner suddenly left the firm. No matter why they left that was the standard thing you'd hear from the rumor mill.

I'd expect an announcement soon about resigning or being fired. I actually thought they'd get rid of Hegseth first, but I guess it will be Patel.
