But her Passport has been reverted back to her assigned gender at birth, apparently due to a renewal. She can still travel on the mis gendered Passport but stands a chance of being hassled at Passport Control (including returning to the United States).

But she's fortunate that she doesn't live outside of California. Kansas, I believe, invalidated driver licenses of transgendered individuals as well as invalidating birth certificates which have been changed.

My passport expires in 2032. I pray that sanity will prevail before that happens.

Also, your last statement at the end reads as transphobic to me. Taking pleasure in a trans person's endangerment is what Republicans do. At one time, Caitlyn Jenner was a face of the trans community who helped make this issue real for the many Americans who had known her as an athlete and later as a TV personality. Since then, she has become proof (if anyone needed it) that bring trans is unrelated to whether one is liberal or conservative.
