This is a term I have seen repeatedly recently. I think it perfectly describes what AI is giving us.

(3,115 posts)to say, the AI trend is bothering me a lot. It stands to destroy truth, art, creativity, and even economies. I see it as the vehicle for further wealth imbalance as the few get richer and the rest of us become dependent on whatever scraps are left.
I do hope I am wrong, but we are already witnessing these things even as AI is still in it's infancy.

theyre flooding us w raccoons on trampolines to cover for the real purpose.

It's not just slop but job destruction.
Hacker News has more than 10 posts a day about the slop and automated harm to websites by the intense crawling.

The video saw Sanders target Tesla, specifically Elon Musks plans to convert the company to focus on robotics with the plan to build 100 million robots per year. Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman was also in Sanders crosshairs for his prediction that most white collar work will be fully automated by AI within the next 12 to 18 months.
