It looks like an upscale brothel in turn of the 20th century New Orleans.

He obviously inherited his grandfather's taste in decorating.

I mean, yeah, he's put terrible, tacky, gaudy shit in OUR White House (things along the lines of what's in the pic) but I'm pretty sure there's not an actual place in the WH that looks THAT ludicrous. But maybe I'm wrong

.... Obviously he was not arrayed like that during his visit, but I've seen real news photos of ceremonies where he looks exactly like that. It's as silly and as tacky (though a bit more expensive) as the Trump White House decor.

So it's "photoshopped" in for this pic, just like Trump's outfit. Was really hoping the background was altered as well because it's just over the top horrifying

King Charles wouldn't wear all that regalia outside of the UK. But, I have no doubt that's what Trump wore!

Queen Elizabeth II's footage was, of course, in black-and-white, and looked rather dignified. Charles' ceremony was broadcast in full color, and I found myself thinking that all the regalia looked ridiculously gaudy and over-the-top.

Interesting contrast.
