I don’t like or agree with everything he’s doing, but on trade, he has been masterful.

For Putin to humble the main cog in the western alliance by just bribing a few weak individuals (well, perhaps a few threats/actions), is a remarkable show of power of intellect over complacency and stupidity. Gotta give credit to the fox when it is due.

If Carney succeeds in creating an economic coalition of the EU and the TPP, both the US and Russia will be the losers, as the pool of their potential trading partners will shrink drastically.

They will hold few, if any, of the cards.

We are working to determine our own trade, why would we want the EU to take over our decisions. I like most of what Carney is doing and that which I am not sure of, is because we don't know exactly what is happening, but I also know he can't show his full hand.

One of my wives (don't ask) was a director for a cruise line that sailed around the islands. I had the benefit of living for a while a couple of times. My northern European skin and the white sand beaches did not work well together.

I really don't think Mexico wants to join NATO because it involves a committment to send troops overseas to fight wars.
