The White House sponsoring a mega "Christian" prayer event on the National Mall violates my rights...

I'm a non-believer and truly believe my rights are being violated. We weren't founded as a religious state. Those saying we were are wrong and lying...Eff this stuff...Let's go ahead and make the Pope our President (oh, that's right, these "Christians" don't like him either..

Article 11 of the 1797 Treaty of Tripoli is a famous historical clause declaring that the United States government is "in no sense founded on the Christian religion." Negotiated by American diplomat Joel Barlow and signed by President John Adams, it was intended to reassure Muslim nations that the US was a secular state, not a Christian crusader power.

The Treaty of Tripoli, signed in 1797, was a peace and friendship agreement between the U.S. and Tripoli (now Libya) designed to protect American shipping from Barbary pirate attacks. It is best known for Article 11, which stated that the U.S. was not founded on the Christian religion, aiming to assure Tripoli that the U.S. was a secular state.

The felon and his gang would have no trouble ignoring, terminating or physically tearing up and urinating on that or any other treaty and SCOTUS would rubber stamp his action.

Since it would be just like when Christianists claim that some natural disaster, usually hurricanes, were the result of homosexuality or abortion rights. We might say that their God wanted to wash out their mouths, like the righteous mom She is!
Disclaimer: Whatever religion they are professing it's not one I adhere to.

Trump wants votes, so he pretends to pray. It's a "sucker born every minute" moment.

Will not be watching.

The English poet Wilfred Owen died just before the WWI armistice.
His poetry has been immortalized in the choral work of Benjamin Britten, War Requiem.
Some of his poetry uses Christ imagery and shows the contradiction between Christ and both the secular and religious ruling class of England; hypocrisy.

One of his poems is very poignant: "At a Calvary near the Ancre"
It is here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/At_a_Calvary_near_the_Ancre

"whom the gentle Christ's denied."
They want a Christ without mercy, without empathy.
Many of the MAGA group are saying empathy is a sin.
When a Bishop pleaded Trump for mercy at an inauguration service, he wanted an apology.

"scribes on all the people shove And bawl allegiance to the state"
Trump wants complete loyalty to him.

"love the greater love...they do not hate"
There will be much hate at the rally.
