Trump is causing me to expect the worst, am I reading too much into his push for the ballroom?

The ballroom and all these additional security measures that he wants are expected to be completed in the fall of 2028..near the end of Trump's term.

I know he's a narcissist and it makes sense that he would want a ballroom as part of his "legacy" as a landmark but with the additional push for the security measures, I've become suspicious.

He won't be in office for long after its completion. The ballroom and security measures will not be used much by him but they will be used for a full term by his successor which will hopefully be a Democrat. They could even be modified by the next President.

Does it seem odd that he wants the ballroom and security measures so badly (even riling up his minions like Fetterman and Graham to boisterously support it) when he knows the construction won't be complete until almost the end of his term? Or does he not plan to leave?

It would be naive not to consider Trump plans to make it a permanent bunker. Irish_Dem 3 hrs ago #1

I guess questioning the timing of the construction and dear leader's motives could get them in trouble.

This, and the other construction efforts, are vanity projects. Hes trying to build statues ro his legacy right now. H believes that if it's completed the next guy won't tear it down.

What sense does it make that he's planning to hold up in a bunker? How long can he go without going to Florida or playing golf. No chance.

Anyone who thinks otherwise has surrendered to the false mythology that he is omnipotent and the states and the people are powerless.

However, I wouldn’t be opposed to letting him stay in his bunker, thinking he is still president, then demolishing his ballroom on top of it and sealing the whole thing with six feet of concrete.

B. It doesn't matter what his plans are. Whether he plans to leave or not. If he's still hanging around As of 12:01 pm on Jan 20, 2029, he's just another unauthorized intruder and will be escorted out like any other unauthorized intruder.
