The regime’s line was that he was only brought back to the U.S. to face charges. Now that those charges have been dismissed, what’s to keep DHS from simply sending him back to CECOT?

The wheels of justice are too f-ing slow. It seems to me the fact this was a vindictive prosecution was obvious from the day the charges were made public. Utter bullshit from start to finish.

I can't help but fear for the fates of the 250 or so who were "released" from El Salvador to the country they originally fled.

Found this one bit of good news:
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/may/22/venezuelan-makeup-artist-cecot-spain-asylum

Venezuelan makeup artist who was deported to El Salvador seeks asylum in Spain: ‘I feel safe here’
Andry José Hernández Romero was deported from the US to El Salvador’s notorious Cecot prison before he was allowed to return to Venezuela

After torture at Cecot... no words.

I would love it if someone like Tom Steyer would finance a documentary to follow up on this group of people targeted, rounded up, and flown off in violation of court orders to be abused at CECOT in a corrupt and unconstitutional "deal" with El Salvador. The horror of this particular evil perpetrated in our name can't be allowed to fade into the background of the firehouse of shit.

Perhaps the worst is knowing that thousands of others who have been similarly targeted without rationale (beyond meeting a vile "quota" ) are suffering in hellish concentration camps inside our own borders right now.

Subjective law interpretation and spurious evidence drive these insane accusations. I consider this a part of this administration’s revenge campaign……anyone who stands against the purported department of justice will have to endure tortuous litigation.

Not only is it more money than he could ever spend in his life, it's exactly the amount Dipshit got in his "anti-weaponization" fund.

Well...knock off, say, $5000 from it. They've gotta have enough money to build a row of pillories on the National Mall for Trump and his minions.

This opinion will be featured in the case when Blanche is disbarred. This judge called out Blanche 30 times.

An extraordinary rebuke of Todd Blanche and his Justice Dept.

Court dismisses indictment of Abrego Garcia (an exceedingly rare outcome in a criminal case).

Finding of vindictive prosecution and "an abuse of prosecuting power."

The opinion name checks Blanche nearly 30 times.
