He's got them going with lines like this: He's trying to put his face on the money. He's building a monument to himself. But see, Atlanta, he's doing these things now because no one will honor him when he's gone... because he's a failed President and a national disgrace." And the crowd went wild.
Many of the comments are saying he will be the nominee in 2028.
I'm not going out on that limb, but he's really been impressive lately. He does not shy away from defining his opponent, something I think the Dems need work on. We've always had all the policy papers and plans lined up in a row, but our offense needs some work. Ossoff is showing that he is one of the growing number of Dems who are up for it.

(25,683 posts)We really have an embarrassment of riches at this point. So many younger Dems to choose from. But I have noticed that Jon has really picked up his offense and his speaking skills lately. People on bluesky are saying he's reminding them of a young Obama. We shall see, I guess.

(25,683 posts)We don't need to shy away from defining trump as the truly dangerous person he is. We can do that AND present our vision of the future.

(25,683 posts)Wasn't going to mention it, but many female blueskyers are commented that Jon is "hot". And I say if it works, we'll take it.
But he's got the policies and speaking skills to back it up.

(6,615 posts)he gave and was bowled over. He's the complete package -- incredibly articulate and can really cut to the heart of issues. Hope like crazy that he wins.
