As his eggshell ego collapses, things could get even scarier...

It is hard to imagine worse than the current level of insanity, but I expect him to become even more unhinged in the coming months. His defenses against reality are collapsing. I have no idea what complete collapse could look like.

At the same time, psychological defenses and denial of reality is weakening for trumpublicans in the House and Senate. More of them may already be facing the fact that the felon is incapable of making the necessarily humiliating deal with Iran -- a deal that will paint a giant L for Loser on the forehead of a man constitutionally incapable of sucking up a defeat.

He will continue to demand that his so-called "negotiators" get a "better deal" -- one that doesn't mean recommitting to Obama's treaty, shoveling 10x the amount of money at Iran that Obama did, and an "environmental fee" (i.e., toll).

Unfortunately, more competent folk than his morons wouldn't be able to craft a way out that isn't effectively a declaration of surrender and declaration that the treaty negotiated over two years by the Obama administration, which was supported by allies -- a treaty the felon ripped to shreds -- was the best deal possible.

All the while, the global and domestic harms and chaos of the war will escalate

Utterly unsustainable.

A breaking point will be reached and more and more of those currently sticking by him will stop kidding themselves that the war will magically be resolved "any day now "

If enough wake up, they'll try get him to resign for "health reasons" or some other face-saving escape from his monumental, criminal debacle.

All bets are off at that point. He will lash out, perhaps in ways we can't imagine. It could be a very dark time as it becomes clear Trump's reign must be brought to an end.

When/if they manage to push him out and J.D. makes the deal, J.D. could be so pissed that the felon put him in that position that he releases all the Epstein files with Trump redactions removed.

Who the hell knows?

I sure don't, but these are strange times. And strange times breed unexpected turns of events.

After a rout in the midterms, as we approach the one-year milestone of the felon's war on Iran (with the attendant and increasingly unsustainable harms) I firmly believe we could see enough of them waking up to push him out.

Sure, maybe I'm wrong, but I wouldn't bet against it.

... TACO certainly has. What happens in the government if TACO falls out? We get a whole new government.

3. Congress is going to resolve the question for him

Both chambers will pass a War Powers resolution forcing him to withdraw troops from the region, possibly this week.

Iran knows this, so has zero motivation to make a deal.

Trump will blame congress for his utter failure, but everyone other than the cultists knows the truth.

4. I hope they have enough to override a veto.

I suspect too many are still in denial -- are still hanging onto the fantasy the felon will make a deal "any minute now."

But, fingers crossed. One way or another, a vote against his insanity by people he believes are utterly under his thumb would be a blow that precipitates a meltdown of some kind.

I want him totally humiliated, forced to apologize to Iran on his knees (and have to get up by himself), and loudly and publicly proclaim that he is a total loser. Nothing less than total and utter capitulation.

It’s also a lesson to all other wannabes who have ideas to following his footsteps.

10. Me neither. But when/if enough recognize the only way to end the disastrous

war on Iran is to get rid of the felon, you'll see "allies" tramping to the WH to give him the option.

And if enough wake up to reality to vote to remove, the threat will be "Resign for whatever reason you want or you will be removed. There are enough of us now."

If that were to come to pass, I'd bet he would continue to delude himself that "they'd never do that" and force their hand.

And if I were a betting person, I would bet that after a rout in the mid-terms, as we come up on the one-year anniversary of his criminal war it will be clear the situation cannot be allowed to continue -- that he must go, one way or another

12. As I stated before.... Trump will resign after the midterms in the second half of his presidency.

This will allow JD Vance to assume the role of President. This way JD Vance can run for two terms independent of completing the end of Trump's term.

The only question is what will Trump negotiate for his resignation as the glow diminishes on his golden head with the nation.
