*^* Was 100K crowd to attend,.. now 5K.
*^* Many UFC fighters/promoters think it a very bad idea.
*^* Celebrity crowd to fill seating,... now military asked to attend because celebrities will no commit to attending. Stipulation: no military fattys allowed to attend must be a minimum waist size,.. look good on camera to make djt happy.

(64,633 posts)LGBTQ folks could attend in street clothes, then do a really fun flash mob dance in rainbow apparel. I'd love it if they'd do "Macho Man" by The Village People. Stir up themes of homoeroticism to get Trump's religious base freaking out.

(19,518 posts)President Donald Trump purchased between ($15,000) and ($50,000) in stock for TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of the UFC, on March 25, 2026. This investment occurred just weeks ahead of the highly publicized "UFC Freedom 250" cage fight scheduled on the White House South Lawn on June 14, 2026.The investment and event have sparked significant political and ethical scrutiny. Critics and watchdog groups have raised concerns over potential conflicts of interest, as Trump heavily promoted the upcoming spectacle while holding a personal financial stake in the organization.Key details regarding the investment and event include:The Stock Purchase: The acquisition of TKO shares in March 25 was revealed in Trump's public financial disclosures released in May 2026. It followed a smaller purchase made the previous year. The Event Logistics: The "UFC Freedom 250" event is slated for June 14, coinciding with Flag Day and Trump's 80th birthday. The UFC is reportedly funding the estimated ($60) million cost of the outdoor event, which features a massive pop-up arena with seating for around 5,000 people on the White House grounds.Card Information: The highly anticipated event will be headlined by two championship matchups: Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight crown, and Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje for a lightweight bout.

(66,584 posts)It was touted from the beginning that there were only going to be 5k "guests" of the White House and Dana White. The rest of the idiots could watch some giant screen or screens, allegedly sized for 100k. A couple of fighters have said they'd rather not participate, but it's not clear if they were ever invited to do so.
