This moment is historic:

A corrupt President, in collusion with several Cabinet members, are attempting to defraud the government of billions of dollars, and he is threatening the Republicans into going along with it. It is unprecedented.

For years, they have done his bidding, however unpalatable. Why should he expect them to do anything different this time?

This is an historic moment. Do we fall so deep into the well of corruption that we cannot climb out? There have been several hearings in the last few days and it is impossible to get a straight answer from the acting AG, Todd Blanche, or the Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent. They were asked such questions as: "Will the children and grandchildren of Donald Trump be exempt from ever being audited by the IRS?" And they refused to answer. It is as obvious as the nose on your face. They are corrupt to the core and are conspiring to rob the American taxpayers.

But the question we face is: Will the Republicans stand up for the rule of law and not collude with a corrupt President? It should be an easy answer.

But it is not.

History is waiting.

Melanie was in Epstein’s employ. That’s the news. When this one fizzles out he’ll pivot to something even more outrageous, like nuking Iran and declaring martial law at home just in time for suspension of midterm elections.

Adding: this is White House messaging. This is what the White House wants you to talk about.

this one is especially significant for its brazen corruption, indicating total lawlessness and descent into dictatorship of oligarchs.

He said that the reaction to the slush fund made him think that this is the beginning of the end.

I'd love to think everything will be on the up and up.
But, I also suspect that billionaires are thinking otherwise.
