If Johnson really believed, the lying would stop. Seems to be a typical characterization of many Republican government officials. Not that the Democrats are guilt free of lying, they just don’t seem as bombastic of their devotion to their religion.

So he only knows what he's told to know. And that ain't much. He learned well from Sgt. Schultz ( "I know NOTHING!" ).

Like the witches' "Fair is foul, and foul is fair" in Macbeth, Trump's toadies use equivocal language to create uncertainty and moral ambiguity. Just like Uncle Vlad wants them to do.
