The overwhelming National debt is on purpose.

The waste is deliberate. He and the billionaire class are leaving America in a hole so deep and the Government so broken that it will be beyond repair. They want just enough for the defense budget and no more.

They want the chaos to be overpowering.
Social Security, broken.
Medicare, broken.
Veterans Affair, broken.
Affordable Care Act, broken.
Public education, broken.
Regulatory Agencies, broken.
Social Welfare programs, broken.

Congress will have nothing left to work with. This destruction is systemic and purposeful. And, we all know the Felon is too stupid to have come up with this on his own. This was the purpose of Project 2025. They allowed him to rob us, to entertain himself with destruction of gov't. property, to satiate his ego all while breaking our system. The billionaire class is largely responsible and must be held accountable.

Employees are being terminated, but AI isn't necessarily replacing them. It's more VC smoke and mirrors. Profit taking and cannibalism can only be successful for a brief window in time.

The people really do have the power. The question is, will they use it?

...most companies blaming AI for layoffs haven’t actually deployed AI capable of replacing the workers they let go. Not even close.

Says it right in the article.

>> 60% had already reduced headcount in anticipation of AI’s future impact.

AI washing? So, the VC are playing financial games and blaming it on AI.

But, it's still layoffs because of AI, or AI concepts, or AI potential, or using AI as an excuse.

They are still building data centers at an exponential rate. So, more AI in the future. More AI due to billionaires. More people fired.

The problem right now is that American billionaires actually believe their shit does not stink and they the fortunes they command are actually 100% due to their inherent greatness (not luck, circumstances, abuse of power and greed to name a few).

Tax the billionaires out of existence. The debt is a marge portion of the profits they have scammed from the overall economy anyway.

Extracting every last bit of wealth from the working class as possible and stealing all the tax money so no services can be provided. All the money goes to the same place, into the pockets of the owners.

Except for a short lull in the late 30’s, the 40’s and the 50’s when the white working class was given little bit of power in exchange for not having a full on proletarian revolution, this is the way it’s always been.

It’s never going to get any better until we force it to get better. And I just don’t know if the American People have it in them anymore.

The single dumbest human being to achieve such power in a millennia has accelerated the decline start all the way back in the late-70's response to Watergate and the installation of Ronnie Raygun to be our first pretend President (followed later by Shrub and Two Scoops). This really dates all the way back to the right-wing revulsion at the New Deal and FDR's decisions and policies. As the dollar collapses as a result of Trump’s Mid-East policy, stocks and bonds will plunge. Real Estate will lose value as well, enabling billionaires and institutional investors to gobble up all houses, commercial, factories etc. They’re the only ones who will be liquid.
Remember, Trump’s tax legislation of 2017 largely got rid of inheritance taxes, so the super-wealthy are positioned to acquire wealth and keep it. The coming hyper inflation is a godsend for the rich.

They pretend to be "fiscal conservatives" even though deficits soar when they're in charge. Wed Jun 10, 2026, 02:47 AM

The Two Santa Claus Theory was formulated by economist and political strategist Jude Wanniski in 1976. It posits that in democratic elections, if Democrats appeal to voters by promising social programs and benefits (the first "Santa Claus&quot , Republicans cannot gain support by advocating for spending cuts alone. Instead, Republicans should become a second "Santa Claus" by offering tax cuts, providing voters with tangible financial benefits while maintaining the appearance of fiscal generosity (Wanniski, 1976)

the deal is that the working class, democrats, can appropriate money to widows and orphans as long as repubs get to send that money to their big donors first..

"don't worry, that's how we prevent fraud and the money all trickles down anyway."

What is the end goal - when all the wealth is concentrated in the hands of a few and there is nothing left for the working stiffs, what then.

When the middle-class is left with nothing but the illusion of having been middle-class, what then.

I also think that the point of all the polarization that is being promoted is to frame the narrative of social unrest to justify a police state.

The powers that be have already impacted a lot of people that depended on SNAP benefits - maybe to get us used to seeing people starving and homeless.

College is increasingly out of reach for the working and middle-class; so education for the rich and entitled or athletically inclined.

As someone pointed out, the GOP is currently robbing us blind and the bill will fall at the feet of the Democrats.

I am glad that I am old...just waiting for the prostate to take me out.

Ice is a paramilitary arm of the Republican Party. They work for the massive prison system that the American people have been convinced is needed to protect them against criminals. That’s what rarely happens though. We must make every Republican pay for their lack of ethics, morals, and their lying to steal our taxpayer dollars. It still boggles my mind we don’t have a Democratic candidate running in every race around the country.
