So I record a show, start watching it and am like, what the fuck is this? The guy is a condescending asshole, I turned it off after a few minutes and never watched again.

Was kind of a failed actor and somewhat successful comedian who had a couple shows. He somehow had the money to become part owner of the NY Mets. Family didn't have money. So he knew some rich and powerful people.

Also, was a frequent guest at the Playboy mansion, so abusing and taking advantage of young women is in his wheelhouse.

Then in 2020, Trumpster hedge fund manager Steve Cohen bought the Mets and Maher tripled his money and cashed out. So a lot of his money is from the deal he got investing in the Mets. Made at least $60M off from that.

He pushes RW propaganda, he's NOT a friend to the lgbtq community, he defends the GOP, he attacks Democrats, he spews and feeds misinformation, he's rude and arrogant. --- Why is he still a "thing" that people pay attention to? Especially here. Ugh. 😡🤢🤮

One of the last times I watched Real Time was after the pandemic was winding down and Maher had Bari Weiss as a guest. I didn’t know who she was at the time, but she and Maher angered me in the way they scoffed at and belittled those who believed the lockdown protocols were necessary precautions to be taken seriously. She came off a a know-it-all blowhard and Maher agreed wholeheartedly with every word she uttered during that episode. They seemed like good chums.

He’s near the top for me. I did think he had some good content in the past, but, he is completely insufferable now. Maybe he was always that way. It pisses me off to even see his face on my Max account page now.
