I think he lined her up for the shiv.
Not because he's necessarily 'smart', but because trump has FINALLY found his new Roy Cohn.

I don't see how it helps him to set up Bondi to take a fall while he is continuing the same subterfuge.

(11,829 posts)Her taking the hit on botching the filed was just the venue he used to get her out. I say that because when she testified 10 days ago, she very specifically said that BLANCE was the one who oversaw both the botched reactions AND the overall release.
