Safety tip: In the event of a thunderstorm, stand directly beneath the nearest giant metal arch

‘No matter what!’ — Dana White reassures fight fans that UFC White House card will happen at all costs

Dana White is “sick and tired” of hearing about bad weather and federal lawsuits. The UFC CEO just wants to focus on rolling out UFC Freedom 250 from the White House South Lawn this Sunday night.

No matter what.

(snip)

“Listen, the show goes on on Sunday. No matter what happens we’re going,” said White at Friday’s presser. “I don’t care if it rains, snows, whatever happens. We have a fight on Sunday.

“I’m sick and tired of hearing about the weather now and all the other bullsh-t surrounding this event. We are fighting on Sunday night on the White House lawn. No matter what!”

Even though foul weather approaches, our commander has ordered us to put ourselves in harm's way, no matter what. I fear the worst. I pray you remember me fondly.

Your loving husband,
Lightning Strike

P.S. I have been assured that should the worst happen, you will receive a generous cryptocurrency bonus in about two weeks. I beg you, spend it wisely.

…. higher …. It has metal in its, it has electrical wires in it, the cage for the fight is made of metal,
the seating is made of metal, the atmosphere will have a lot of moisture in it, and if it rains there
will be water everywhere and all this stuff conducts electricity like a champ.

We could be looking @ a mass casualty event.

10 a.m. - The National Weather Service has increased its chance of rain to 70%, forecasting "likely" showers and thunderstorms for the D.C. area before 10 p.m. ET. That puts the rain squarely in the window for the 8 p.m. start time of the Freedom 250 card.

On Friday night, UFC delayed a press conference at the Lincoln Memorial due to nearby lightning strikes.

Update Humidity will be >80 %.

I thought for a glancing moment that by EO our great leader, elevator of all baser instincts, UFC fan forever, with his omnipotent range of suspending America’s laws and order would by decree-

“I djt ( greatest felon of all time) have directed Zeus (my biggest buddy) to clear the skies for at least 3 hours Sunday night and if He sees fit to incinerate all liberals with his mighty bolts.”
