Ok, I have a theory which is mine and belongs to me:

and is mine too.

I think he got some REALLY bad news a few days ago. He looks like all the wind has been taken out of his sails, and his facial expressions and posture are those of a very deflated individual. He looked like dog squeeze last night and worse today.

It may be that a cadre of the 22 specialists gave him some very bad news.

Now: how can I posit this theory? Because I had the exact same expression on my face and my posture sagged as his is doing when I firmly believed that I was going to die when I was admitted to the hospital via the ER many years ago for a non-cardiac life-threatening condition. I saw myself in the mirror in a bathroom and was unrecognizable TO MYSELF.

One thing that he may have been told: His kidneys may be on their way out and he was told he would require dialysis. That would explain the number of required physicians as well as his mood. He would require cardiologists, nephrologists, urologists, surgeons, hematologists, and a few other assorted folk.

Or, he may have a severe bowel or colon issue due to his “issues” which are not worth describing near the dinner hour. He may be facing significant surgery to rectify his obvious decline in bowel control which is likely worsening based upon recent video.

We shall see.

We fell asleep at the Knicks game.
I’ve seen one image of him at the event last night and he looked like he was nodding off. His X minions have had no content of him making a great entrance or much of a presence there.

Your theory is solid. He’s failing

Trouble is he turned 80, and I agree his health issues are far more serious than we are allowed to know, but I wonder how many people have that kind of extravaganza at that age. That said, he had to make a showing for the party, and other things that popped up unexpectedly. Then they put him on a plane to Europe to pile on the time zone change, so he looks even worse. Almost wonder if the GOP is trying to help reduce his chance of getting to 81.

Yeah, you can have an extravaganza at 80 - the age isn't the factor. It's his terrible health.

but he isn’t really interested in them, can’t stay focused on any one of them. What’s the one thing he’s really focused on at all times? Himself. Looks like he’s glimpsed his own death, if dimly.

He seems to be trying to relive his peak years - building things, making appearances for applause, professional fight matches, decorating...

Meanwhile, his professional tasks are being performed by the worst of his ghouls with no guardrails - Stephen Miller, Russell Vought, Elon and the cryptobros. Maybe why Susie Wiles is rumored to be on the way out.

Regardless, the FIRST THING I do each morning is grab my phone, open the CNN app and check to see if he died overnight.

Then I pee.

And for an 81 yr old man with an enlarged prostate and weak bladder, that should tell you how much I hate that MF.

for older people no matter how wealthy or "important" they may be, especially if there are cognitive health concerns.

And, even without the risks, I can't imagine power-mad and paranoid Trump agreeing to turn the Oval over to VP Couchbotherer for those anesthetized hours.
