(23,052 posts)I know that's not what you said, but I can almost hear the chorus of "Run, Michelle, run!" warming up for 2028 (just like it did in 2020 and 2024), and I'm dreading it, because I know she really, REALLY does not want that.
She'll never do it. She knows what she wants and what she does not want, and she has too much strength of character to be pushed into doing anything against her will. I just wish more people would recognize and accept that there is never going to be a President Michelle Obama.

This brilliant women, First Lady praising and showing how much she absolutely loves her husband, respects him and is his equal.
And speaks English so eloquently.
What a beautiful and hopeful speech.
Both sides this mouth breathers.
And you will never see her in photos with any Epstein trash. Or nude.
She is not a man, but she has more spine and strength than all those idiots that claim masculinity that trash her daily from the weakest of men in the GQP, in the world.

A few things spring to mind.
Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem.
For instance, he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace – all qualities, funnily enough, with which his predecessor Mr. Obama was generously blessed.
So for us, the stark contrast does rather throw Trump’s limitations into embarrassingly sharp relief.

The Trumps are exactly not those qualities.
ETA: The Obamas are also beautiful while the Trumps… not so much.
